2009-10 New England Patriots

The 2009 season is the 50th Anniversary of the Franchise which will again be led by QB Tom Brady, who is fully recovered from his 2008 season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs.  In late august, free agent Tedy Bruschi announced his retirement from the game.

Look for the New England Patriots to get back into the playoff hunt in 2009 and for the franchise to make its way back to the Super Bowl.

2008-09 New England Patriots

The season began in an awful fashion for the Patriots as starting QB Tom Brady, the MVP from the league in 2007, suffered a season ending knee injury.  With reserve Matt Cassel taking the reins, the Patriots finished with an 11-5 record but failed to make the playoffs yet again becoming the first team to win 11-games and not make the playoffs.
